Testimonial

SouthPoint Foursquare Church, Fresno, CA
Senior Pastor Keith Jizmejian and Assoc. Pastor Steve Myers

Often times, a church is unaware of the consequences that can occur when they attempt to build on their own. This testimonial shows how a detrimental project became a triumphant experience. Please take a moment and watch the enclosed DVD (Main Menu: SouthPoint Testimonial).

When CharestCorp came upon this renovation project, the church had previously employed an architect with no church experience. The existing building was not structurally sound and it was cost-prohibitive to do a complete retrofit of the building. They were behind schedule and over budget. Although the church had considered hiring CharestCorp before the project began, they decided not to hire any general contractor at all and perform their renovation project in-house. You can see a sense of dismay on Pastor Steve Myers’ face on the enclosed DVD, as he recounts that time when they had no hope for their new sanctuary to be completed.

When we came in, we were able to work with lenders to acquire the appropriate funding to finish the project and get the church back on schedule. Essentially, our team designed a building within a building, creating a structurally sound sanctuary within the walls of the existing building. The project was a great success and the church has hired CharestCorp to do a complete build-out of their remaining property.
