Bob Adams is the Director of Business Development and Marketing for JH Batten, Inc., a church design build firm located in Walkertown NC. Before joining JHB in 2004, Bob’s background included 23 years as an associate/executive pastor with primary responsibility in church facilities administration. He has a BS in Business Administration and a Masters in Church Administration and Communication. Bob is a Certified Church Consultant (NACDB) and a Fellow in Church Business Administration (NACBA).

Drawing on his background in both church operations and construction, he has been a speaker on green church issues at the first Creation Care Conference, Worship Facilities Expo, National Association of Church Business Administrators, National Association of Church Design Builders, and the Virginia Baptist Church Building Conference.

Bob’s passion is helping the church be efficient in its use of ministry resources so it can be effective in accomplishing its vision and ministry. A life-long learner, Bob’s current areas of mission curiosity include multi-site opportunities, the hospitality factor in churches, building and strengthening the team, and understanding the culture around us.

He currently serves his own church as producer of the Student Worship services. He and his wife Anita have three young adult children and a teenage at home.
